I cannot live without this water bottle. It's pockets are deep enough and have two separate compartments within the one pocket. I use it to hold up to 2 Gu's, or a few water tablets, and one key, and maybe a credit card. The phone sits right up front and can be manipulated through the clear plastic screen....I listen to music while running and also use MapMyRun app to track my mileage through my phone and therefore need to be able to get to my phone without a hassle. I saw these at REI for $32 but I got mine at Marshalls for $12!! What a steal....Your arms need to get used to carrying the water bottle if you long long distances, but, now I find it's not as hard as it was when I began. Still beats the belt in my mind. The belt is not stretchy therefore it's either too tight or too loose, and it's often a hassle to get the bottle out of the belt, much easier to hold it. Great for anyone running 6-13 miles....any more miles and you would either need to refill bottle or take two.

First few runs using energy products from GU and a view from my run....
Recently, I started using energy products during my long runs and I'd say I am feeling amazing today after my 13 mile run this morning. Usually, I am totally exhausted after running 13 miles that I need a little nap, but today, I am recovering just fine and feeling the way I normally do the next day.
This is the street I run on for my long runs. It's Connecticut Avenue, NW. Spring is so beautiful in DC!!
